Never thought of him. He was one of our assistant coaches under Griffin from 2022 to 2024 and left us to be assistant coach under his brother Kristian at the Dolphins once Bennett left and once Shane Flanagan started coaching us. He would know plenty of the youngsters in our squad but I'm not too keen on him.

I just feel in my gut that Deano will be the permanent head coach of the Dragons. There is the talk that Young has great rapport with the players and they are liking his coaching ways and is easy to talk to. The feeling is that they really are happy playing under him.
