I've always felt the season starts in Round 3 for us.. we weren't expected to win these previous 2 games.. but if we cant get over the line against middle-tier teams like Parra or Titans.. then we're in some real strife.

Thats not a true reflection of the game but our 2nd half wasn't the best. They had all the possession and we just didn't hold onto the pill well enough turning the ball over time after time, 11 errors . 46 missed tackles, 74% completion rate and we just ran out of gas.

Its why I mentioned I don't enjoy watching first grade the last few seasons, we need to play near perfect footy to win a footy game.. whereas most clubs can play @80% and rely on a couple of speedsters score out of nowhere and still get win some games they dont deserve..
We out-ground them today but coupla mistakes and its all it takes to lose games against speedy athletes.

We have no speed and that will kill us in every game, no matter who we play. We bash and barge and then run out of puff. I feel this will be a disappointing season. The crowd was only about 11000. forget about that next time. My prediction is 0 - 6.

Both teams we have played will make the 8 and be competitive. You simply can't turn over the ball against teams like the Storm who will finish in the top 4 again.
But your right we aren't going to burn teams away with our speed we will score executing well as we did and we are quite capable of scoring 3 tries per game but against teams with multiple strike players we simply can't match them for 80 min
