Fox news saying theyve given up trying to rehab Toby and sending him for surgery... also Nicks injury was a syndesmosis.. pretty much means both gone.. Nick maybe could be back for NSW Cup finals.. honestly its not good for the team, hes been the x-factor in many of their closer wins.. esp if Heidke isnt back... RFM/Halangahu prob the starting 2nd rowers I guess.

The Dragons can provide the following injury updates on Jaydn Su’A, Toby Couchman, Nick Tsougranis and Sione Finau.

The Dragons can provide the following injury updates on Jaydn Su’A, Toby Couchman, Nick Tsougranis and Sione Finau.
Jaydn Su’A
Su’A suffered a grade 2 medial ligament injury against the Cowboys. He will not require surgery and is expected to be available in round 25.
Toby Couchman
Couchman will undergo shoulder stabilisation surgery this week, meaning he will not be available to play again in 2025.
Nick Tsougranis
Tsougranis suffered a high grade syndesmosis injury in the round 21 NSW Cup match against Newtown. A return to play estimate will be determined after he undergoes syndesmosis repair surgery this week.
Sione Finau
Finau suffered a shoulder dislocation in round 20 against the Bulldogs. He will undergo shoulder stabilisation surgery this week, ending his 2025 season.

damn this is a worst case set of results.. hope Toby didnt reinjure himself.. 5 weeks iirc since he injured it theyve been trying to get it right..
And Sione.. I thought the shouldwe went back in reasonably easily versus say Hughes that they couldnt get it back without help of an ambulance.. and hes supposed to be back for finals.. its actually really dissapointing cause talent like Sione and Nick.. I mean these r 2 of the best cup players ahead of finals.. luckily guys like WIlliams and Lyric and maybe Lawson r in the mix as options.

assuming a serious injury (especially after we lost Latu, you'd think Daniel would have an even better path).. its one of the things I dislike about being a fan of lower grades.. there is no tracking of injuries.. Kirk got an ACL at the start and its not even mentioned anywhere.. Heidke is killing it and we r desperately short centres.. not even a mention of what his injury is..
