is this normal for 21's to be playing on literal dirt for large chunks of this oval? Hopefully the finals are at better venues... this seems like its begging for injuries.

Edit: Oh didnt realise Hammoud actually went off in the 1st half.. thats a worry with our other injuries..

Edit 2: Lame were letting Manly get so close after the huge lead we had.

Taking the foot off the accelerator is perfectly ok in this situation but this has gotten a bit ridiculous.

Everything that was good in the first half was reversed. That is not a good way to head into the finals.

I think 2nd and 3rd get a second chance. 1st also after a week off. So one sudden death game per week until the grand final.

wonder if Rumble had a concussion or has he done his shoulder? it was one of those epic body out of play put downs.. but on a dusty old oval i bet it was hard as hell.. he was sitting up kind of looking down after.. I thought concussion at the time.. maybe 2 weeks off ..

Toby was injured earlier in match, he should be ok
Shadi is gone ankle again, which is a worry because I don't think Eden will be fit

Our depth will be tested but if it stands up we should be playing in the GF. Time will tell

My theory is its either one of those player manager squid pro quo situations for another player we've signed.. or... we intend to use him as maybe a bench 14 or something in cup for (maybe if Connor and/or Halae arent around).. but if O'Neill is in the 30+6 its a literal burnt spot for a developing player... which is why its so odd... and I cant imagine any situation O'Neill plays first grade... other than a very very deep halves injury run like the warriors are having right now.

I would think Hodges+Reed would be a perfect cup halves combo next year and thats not even including LKT (if hes staying that is.. its possible he signs Nov 1 and heads off early). Hammouds new injury probably means he is dropping down the priority order... has had a rough 2yrs since leading us to an SG Ball title.
