Some freakish individual talent by Rokko Walker today

Did some great work in cover defence but let himself down laying off one tackle when they scored. His pace as a half is an asset.
Liked the little snippets I did see of Marley Maclaren, feels like Mason Phillips has gone under the radar but he’s having a good season IMO

I've been hard on Mason but he's impressed this season.
Rooming with another player that has the right attitude on and off the field has helped him.

How likely is having 1 team mug?

I can only see good things happening from it and hope it happens, but it’s so unlikely isn’t it?

Mug Fan Mug Fan If the club was to invest in its own team and call its self St George Illawara Dragons (merging the 2 pathways) what happens to the original 2 clubs? do they just disintegrate into nothing?

To me it seems a bit of a fait acompli that this will happen, especially considering the accommodation you mentioned. Having the 1 team in mats, SG all training out of the new COE, seems like a no brainer. They can always make a case that St George and the Steelers still have teams in Laurie Daley and AJ cup

I've spoken with Basil before about it and Ando, there is definitely a path mapped out, but who knows if it sees an end.

Both clubs will still exist they are our juniors.
As I said before, they will have their own academy's.
Steelers can have Johns and Daley
Dragons 16 and 18s development teams.
Then it all feeds into our Elite Academy.

I've seen some say we will loose players who don't want to travel to the Gong but players like Rokko Cornelius Alex Jasais already travel to the Gong a couple of times a week for Elite training
