Yep I agree, hes not going to get a better opportunity than here.. even with Atkinson coming in 2026. It's actually why I didnt want him to get so many first grade games at the end of 2024.. a taste is fine but it was quite a run and its hard to go back.
What leg injury? Is he ok to start the season? A running game is good but ball playing ability is a must for a 1/2 and 5/8 in my opinion.
it was in the g/f, got charged down in a kick (I hate that more wasnt made of the incident).. bit like Ilias but not as bad an injury given he did make it back and play a few games right as the season ended.. Yeah he can ball play, he led them to a title.. but anyway this is probably his year in Flegg.. looking forward to seeing him and Reed combine if both remain uninjured..
I really liked the way, in the Canberra game, LKT took the ball in both hands right to line before passing. Canberra outside backs couldn't slide across because there was every possibility LKT was going to run. He didn't, he passed every time but unless that was a one off, I thought it was good signs for the future. I thought he'd get a top 30 contract for sure after that game. Obviously his form in the reserve grade wasn't as good.
If the team is travelling well, we are going to be saying, "who is LKT?" If not, he will get a chance sooner rather than later. With Reed and Hammoud possibly not far away and Atkinson on the way, I think the cub can be reasonably confident with the halves. I know hindsight is a wonderful thing but really a shame it took so long to get rid of Hunt.
Needed to get the ball in his hands more on Sat. Looks a weapon, big, fast and can tackle.

Its decent enough, sometimes they have commentators, but mostly its just the raw footage so you have to really pay attention and have names <> jersey numbers ready for a lot of them.
Video quality is quite good and hopefully for Flegg and KOE there will be commentary for the matches and replays of tries. I’ll try and watch every one of our matches from Ball up but at least the minis are good if you know the score and just want to grab a few highlights if you can’t watch them live.
I think with the kids its 10 days or 2 weeks or something.. cant remember what age it changes over.. but would be nice to get some blokes on board again, its a short season so you cant drop too many games.. but I spose as long as u make finals.
