aside from the money there are a few things that stood out

• Season structure, scheduling and draws are now under the ARLC’s control.
• A commitment from media partners to positively market and grow the game.
• More stringent quality assurance mechanisms in relation to conflicts of interest.

That first one is huge esp with respect to Broncos and Friday nights and equitable allocation of FTA games
The third one, feels like a f*ck of Gus clause which i am not against.

The Australian Rugby League Commission (ARLC) has secured a record-breaking $5.3 billion media rights agreement with Foxtel Group, Nine and Sky NZ, establishing the largest broadcast and media partnership in Australian sporting history.

I would think that the salary caps for all clubs will increase each year for the next 8-9 years which would be in keeping to retain the players and bring in new ones to help grow Rugby League here and abroad.

A massive deal if you want to watch on pay TV. All you young ones will have plenty rugby league to see that's for sure.

The 3 points RufusRex made above are indeed important in the scheme of things.

It would be truly magnificent if during this time the Dragons wins 3 more premierships.
