The Dragons are pleased to announce that Ella Koster has signed a two-year extension with the club.

The deal will see Koster contracted to the Dragons until at least the end of the 2027 NRLW season.

An Albion Park-Oak Flats Eagles junior, Koster was rewarded with an NRLW debut in Round 1, 2023 and last year helped lead the Steelers to a Tarsha Gale Cup premiership before representing the Under 19s Country side and the Under 19s Blues.

A proud Gweagal and Wiradjuri woman, Koster made her Indigenous All-Stars debut in February scoring a crucial try.

“It’s a special feeling to be extending with the Dragons,” Koster said.

“I’ve come through the system here as a local junior and the Illawarra is my home. I’m grateful and very excited for what’s to come. This season will be different for our group, and I look forward to being a part of that.”

“Being able to re-sign Ella long-term is very exciting for our club,” Head Coach Nathan Cross said.

“She’s still a teenager, but she’s accomplished a lot already. She’s a really good athlete and a hard worker. She’s a local junior who has come through our pathways system. Her best footy is yet to come and we’re excited that it’ll be here at the Dragons.”
