I can only guess they sent the instructions to the company in Bangladesh. The jerseys along with the special embroidery came back only a week or less before the game. Club had no option to go with it as there wasn't enough time to get replacements. Benefit of the doubt but I think they must get a few 100 done at a time. Isn't there anyone in Sydney who can embroider the text? I just don't understand it.

Someone at the club made a typo, no one proofread. They arrived with no time to fix. My guess.

Is this your theory or you know they sent to Bangladesh, i find that hard to believe if they're sending overseas, because that's just Ridiculous, Im involved in running a sporting team and we organised our teams hoodies to be embroidered and it was no issue, im sure our jersey sponsor Classic could organise it or even do it in house and they should be able to fix it within a day..

Just a guess. Seems too incompetent. I knew someone who wanted a limited number of T shirts once. If one wants 1000s one uses China. Any less, Bangladesh or India.

  12. Charlotte Basham
  13. Hannah Southwell

  17. Ahlivia Ingram

  18. Bronte Wilson
  19. Grace Hamilton
  20. Alice Gregory
  21. Jamilee Mcgregor
  22. Jayme Millard

  • Unlike the NRL team, speed to burn in this backline. But that won't count for much if they let the big., tough, hard-running Rorters women in the middle dominate. Line speed will and kicking game will be key. Get up in the faces of the big Rorters and keep turning them around so they hopefully run out of puff. Big ask for our young team this early but unlike last year, they aren't a rabble so there is hope.

Looks like women against girls, as they say. If Dragons can hang in there they might have some luck a the back end of the game when hopefully the big Chickens tire out a bit.

Rly frustrating game.. we should have put them away over and over again, roosters r dropping everything, 59% completion at last check.. but badger keeps giving them penalty after penalty on the 3rd or 4th tackle.. and when they hold it they r hard to stop.. then the sinbin..

MacGregor as goalkicker though, my god.. had a couple right in front and she stops at the ball and sprays it randomly, surely someone has a bit more fluency in the squad.

I was thinking the same thing. Ref intervened on behalf of the Rorters. Penalty for something I missed and from the Dragons girls reaction, they missed it as well. Then penalty for markers not being square after they made a mistake. By the letter of the law, was probably true but every second tackle is like that and not penalised. Then Indie was penalised for tackling a player without the ball when it was simultaneous at very worst. The video ref intervened for the refs mistake by sending one of ours to the bin for a late tackle earlier in the movement when it was marginally late at worst and she had her head down as she went in for the tackle. Even if she could have pulled out, no way for her to know the Rorters player passed the ball. So that was that game over.

Having said that, something needs to be done about the forwards. The big🐔 in the middle dominated.

I think the game plan was good. Our MUCH smaller girls were moving up fast, frustrating their big chickens, helping them make a lot of mistakes.

  • Lost to the Rorters last week but still, the improvement is immense. Could've won last week if not for some very dubious refereeing.
  • Back 5 are guns but need some muscle to match it with the big Rorters up front. No idea about Bullgrubs.

Not sure if anyone was watching but some good news. Dragons girls got home in the last minute. After the Grugs girls missed a couple of shots at field goal.

The usual suspects were good, Reh and Bostock. Last year it was like U5s where they just kept passing to Berry and telling her to run. Painful to watch. Not the case this year. I'd like her to get the ball more now. Still strong carries, good tackling, good passing game. It's just she has some help this year. A lot of ball movement and offloads in general. Not sure how much of it is Sowie's fault but they way they are playing this year vs the rabble they were last year, day and night.

The problem is still in the middle. It looks like in general, our girls are smaller. Too many breaks against us right through the middle.

  • Doesn't get any easier. Up against another of the big teams, figuratively and literally,. But our girls are fast gaining a reputation as a big team, figuratively speaking. Once again, if our forwards can hold their own, expect our backs to get us home.

no Indie Bostock for this game and a big loss, Upton and the monster center will cause us problems, all the best girls, you have been playing well so far !!!
