Wow it now seems we will lose Southwell for 2 games. Has this team played with a full complement since Rd1, I wonder what resources are going to our NRLW side because since the beginning it seems we have gone backwards every year and remaining at a very sub par level. Disappointing to see really considering the region we are in.

Well, someone has some explaining to do with this side, constantly being put on report, suspensions, injuries. Cant get Berry into any space, seems like thats the only play they have. Hospital passes and a shear lack of game plan. I fail to understand with just about the best nursery for women we just havent got the right players. They have heart but thats about it, for a club that was an entry level club into the NRLW, we sure havent kept pace with other clubs and in most cases have gone backwards, a highly disappointing performance.

That may be the case Eric, but was Soward really responsible for the mass exodus of players or was it the club that just couldnt or wouldnt secure their future, I suppose we will never know, I really hope they invest some money into this team, the Roosters dont seem to struggle with it.

Good win for our girls. They were once again pretty drastically outmuscled but a lot of ball movement, quick play the balls and good line speed got us home.

Good game girls, lots of mistakes but highly entertaining.

Lots of ball movement from our girls but at risk of repeating myself too much, they are once again pretty dramatically outmuscled by the much bigger NQ team. Not a good season but much better than last year and a very young team which will only get better but really need to recruit I'd say at least 2 "big girls" to play upfront.

Unfortunately, while our girls have improved a bit this year, most are very young as you say Eric and nowhere near the strength of those in the top 5, more particularly the Roosters who have not lost a match so far this year. They look unbeatable and will win the grand final again I feel.

We really do need a couple of bigger girls in the middle just like we do in the mens team.

Hopefully we will get them before next years comps start for men and women.

Can we possibly have any plays that dont involve Flash. The excuses are running out for NC as well. The writing was on the wall as soon as we fronted up with lightweight forwards. Has McGregor been punted or what is happening there ?

Roosters winning 11 in a row. When I saw this it was the womens' team - lucky not 11 premierships in a row but games to complete the regular season.

They could win 11 premierships in a row the way their team is able to have virtually a team of test and origin players. How the hell do they manage that?

A familiar story. For a long time our faster, smaller girls went with them and were leading by 10 points with 5 min left in the first half. A dubious penalty against us and then a Newcastle try right on halftime. Then in the second half our girls, seems like literally half the team is 18 or 19 years-old, were out muscled. Similar story against the top teams, Rorters and Donkeys. In both those games they ran away with it late.

Well done to the girls but as the season stands another disappointing one. We go in with lightweight forwards again next year and it will be more of the same. We need at least 2 more the size of Southwell if not bigger that can pack a punch up the middle and hurt in defense.
