Can't say I know much about this team.
- I hope #7 can turn herself into a good halfback because she was a very good 5/8.
- I thought after another off season, #21 might have turned into a very good winger or centre. Seems not. Maybe the wingers are just really good.
- Last year their main problem was the lack of big, tough middle forwards. They were able to go with the Rorters and Donkeys for large parts of the game but just couldn't hold them in the middle for the 70min. They typically ending up conceding a lot of points in the last 15min.

Looks like a debacle. 20-0 against after Berry's 2nd minute try. Canberra aren't supposed to be one of the better teams as well.

22-4 up at the break vs Parramatta. Team still looks way lighter, as it relates to weight, across the field but coach has them doing a lot of dummy half running followed by a couple of passes to backrowers on the edge, i.e. staying away from an arm wrestle in the middle. It's really troubling the big Eels ladies.

Eels came out fired up for the second half and scored early to make it 22-8. And that was it. No more scoring in the half. Eels had more ball and better field position but our girls were good enough to hold them out and get a comfortable victory in the end.

Agree they still look light on but a much better performance, a bit worrying that they couldn't score in the second half. But well done overall.
