  • I guess RFM will drop back and push from #12 down a spot.
  • Whats going on with Latu? Injured or told to GTFO?
  • Even with some things which look bizarre to me, like resting Lawson for what? To sit on an extended bench for NRL this week? Even with all that, just can't stop winning.
  • If Lawson comes back to NSW Cup this week, it'll be a straight swap for Rumble who is one of the young blokes not really pushing on and getting better.
  • I'm just not sure why #9 isn't really rated for first grade. I thought he'd compliment Liddle well for not much money. I still think that. Have him on for 20 min a game, tackling everything that moves and passing smartly from dummy half.
  • #2 is back. Really need him to play well. Need a big, fast winger not lacking in skill.
  • #4, #5, #6, #7 makes for a pretty decent backline, doesn't it? #1 is still a problem or work in progress.
  • As TheRev TheRev mentioned, #4 moved up to NSW Cup in order to play 3 min. Strange decision in my eyes. I wonder if that's on the cards for this week as well.
  • #11 back to Flegg. I guess it's just a question of fitting them all in. If BMM was eligible for Flegg, I'm quite sure CST would take his place in NSW Cup.
  • I wonder if #10 is on the radar for promotion. I've always rated him.

  • Because NSW Cup is @Jubilee on friday night, anyone can potentially drop back to play NSW Cup, so I think if Val is playing Lawson will just take Rumbles spot in NSW Cup.
  • Latu has a back injury
  • Heidke back in flegg.. seems like we arent quite rdy to pull the pin and move him up a grade permanently (i.e. with Nick into 2nd row), surely its coming.. atleast hes on the radar I guess.

Muhleisen is garbage, he didn’t even stand out in the SG ball winning side and hasn’t done anything to show he’s worth a top 30 deal

Slow,small,weak and no threat as a ball player or runner. Thought they would have shipped him back to Picton magpies A-grade 12 months ago

The flegg 2-7 is exciting, there’s plenty of points in that selection of players.

Id be shocked if Val backs up btw, the toll the yardage carries and Origin will take on him 48 hours before another game is too much

Give him a rest so he doesn’t miss 6 weeks with a calf/hammy issue

ouchie! I think Connor has been solid and been better this year than last.. if we had to get dispensation to play him in first grade (injury crisis etc), I think he good do a job, but I dont think he has the x-factor or the class to go any further.. kid bleeds red&white literally.. but hes probably found his ceiling.. def doing a good job in cup.

tbh back in 2021 pre-season, he and Wishart trialled, and they both looked good, but I would have 'just' backed Connor over Tyran at the time.. but turns out Tyran was the better one.. probably a bigger skillset I guess.

At some point though.. guys like Connor and also Ramsey.. like they are holding up development positions in NSW Cup.. Cody in particular is going gangbusters, but at some point hes either moving up into the Top30, or he will have to make way for a young gun.. that young gun doesnt exist currently though.. nor does it exist at hooker.. if/when Hjaltason comes back, then maybe we see whether Connor or HFinau makes way... id say the latter..

Probably a fair call as hard as it will be to leave him out.. Kyle is a decent enough kicker, or used to be.. Allans injury is ofcourse terribly timed.

I noticed Eden Hodges back @18th man in Flegg, I assume he was injured cause I rly liked what I saw in him early season, from memory a huge boot and good vision.. as much as I was a TPH fanboy, if Hodges is fit, im keep to see him back in there.

Muhleisen doesn't have much of a running game but tackling everything that moves for 20 min and passing well from dummy half, I thought he could have complimented Liddle very well. He can also cover in the halves. Too late now but what might have been.

Or both promoted. Allan will go too. Finau is also off contract, isn't he? Forwards are stacked but some places available in the backs.

Jesse needs to stay healthy, a full preseason would mean so much for him.. would be interested to see how he would go up a grade (not that there is any room currently), just cause I cant really judge the kid at that level, its different.. but tbf he hasnt played much.

Jesse is a favourite of mine. I really hope he does well. I think he needs to go looking for the ball more often though. If he can increase his workload that would really help his case.
