No, no. I'm talking about Drew Hutchison, the 5/8 highly regarded Dragons jnr from about 10 years ago. I think he's in the Bullgrugs NSW Cup team now.

I've been saying that in my opinion Ryan is going to be a gun first grade prop or lock. Runs hard, tackles hard, has a pass and an offload and some footwork rather than just running straight.

You simply cannot afford to play an injured prop in a GF no matter how good he is.

When it comes to spelling names correctly, don't copy my spelling because unless they are short and simple, a good chance I'll get it wrong.

Anyway, I'm told by those who know more than me Ryan is still behind a few for next year, like Liu along with obviously LPT. He needs to put on a bit more weight before being a middle forward in the NRL but at his age and on his frame, unless he comes down with a serious intestinal disease, should be very easy. Maybe he gets a chance in the NRL next season at some point but if not, definitely 2027.

As for Drew, what a bitter disappointment. Just goes to show how often the best juniors aren't suitable for NRL. I think it has something to do with being bigger but slower in the under age games can pay off but suddenly in the open age when they aren't especially big anymore, can't cut it.

See Jake Stockwell and Eddie Blacker. Even Jackson Shereb and Josh Coric.

Still nothing on NRL Casualty Ward re Loko to confirm he has an ACL. I expect he will miss the GF. But the news only gets worse as Jake is also out, was rushed to hospital yesterday with acute appendicitis. So whatever chance we had of being Premiers has now vanished.

That's good news. If it was an ACL, we know about it by now. You would think so anyway. Must be an MCL which will keep him out of the remaining game or 2 but he'll be fully fit for pre-season training.

Geez aren’t you a positive type. Glad you aren’t the coach or the game would have been forfeited by now. Have some faith on the “ whole squad “, not just 2 or 3 players

Didnt see the game, but 42-14 to the Warriors (over the Eels), rly bummed Tanah Boyd is elegible for cup finals.. hes a real point of difference, proper experienced 7 with a huge boot.. and a decent goalkicker...will make our job much tougher... esp without a few of our best forwards.. but its there for us if we can play somewhere near our best... the key is can our pack dominate theirs, thats really whats given us the edge this year.

Dont question my passion for the RedV, just being realistic pal. Those two kids are a big loss despite their tender years. If we have a chance it will only be if Talau has the balls to promote the clubs only natural and best game manager, Kade Reed, plus he needs some size in the engine room so other than Liu add Fifita with his powerful carries and move Mariner into the middle, as he is also a big unit and is coming off prob his best season with us. This will give us both the go forward and space for Reed to work his clever plays.
