Don’t know the general consensus around us signing Klemmer but IMO it’s not a big issue, if he signs for a year then fine it’s a body in the door to fill a hole for a year but if he doesn’t I don’t think it makes much of a difference. Unless we have a torrid run of injuries in the middle forwards between now and the June 30 deadline then im ok with sticking with what we’ve got for the season

Can't agree, we are short a middle, looking at the team that Just a Mug Fan posted on another thread, it's obvious we will struggle with an injury say to Guler or even one of the other props, last year we were lucky with injuries, can't ride our luck again..

Klemmer for Molo should have us covered. There is always the possibly of JDB to prop, Latu lock. Or having Stewart and Tonga in the 17. Not ideal at their age but when there are a few injuries in the same position, selecting too many young players than is ideal happens.

Good. Would prefer Klemmer for 2 years and then promote from within. Or raid another club for one of their young props who hasn't played first grade.

I highly doubt that, would be daylight robbery and tigers have props coming out of their wazoo, they definitely don’t want or need that swap

If he did visit the tigers its interesting.. but its the 2yr thing that makes no sense.. 6mths of contract subsidised in 2025 for depth is 1 thing.. but the tigers taking on a 2026 contract I dont think is possible.

Lawries main issue is he is yet to play a trial game, so noone even knows how he is looking after another tough preseason and a few kilos down.. same with Fifita and Sele.. very hard to sell someone whos not playing footy.

I think losing a few kgs was the last thing Lawrie needed.

A friend of mine reckons Blake Lawrie was seen leaving tigers’ headquarters. Not sure where the info came from. But swapping Lawrie for Klemmer would free up a roster spot. He may not have featured in the trials because he was injured.

Why is our board continuing to hold up the release of Frank Molo. His agent says it is not about money as have not even asked for a cent, but rather only his clients welfare. Pull out zee finger and remove him from our 30 so we can sign Klemmer.
