We wont recognize our roster next season with all these changes in personnel. Still doubt over Val and Gutho. Val we can move to wing, Gutho is the big worry given his lack of pace these days and Nikorima coming to play 5/8. Sorry old son but where does Deano play you.

We have to be careful not to antagonize our temperamental giant bookend by moving him to the bench next season, so Deano needs to keep him where he is to partner KK and move Toby to the edge or lock and bench either Ryan or Dylan.

Some noise that we have Charnze Nicoll - Klokstad and or Izack Tago on the radar for '27, depends on what is done with Moeses and Gutho.

Daniel Anderson has worked his butt off so far and hopefully he is going to get us a couple more centres and another prop forward.

We will have 4, maybe 5 signing spots to fill including 2 centres and another forward.

I wouldn't expect too many more signings, we have 28 on the roster for next year and only Suli looking like being released.
Note I think Leeroy needs to be bumped up on my list.

Signing Nikorima will mean an end to the KF/Flanno saga. Atkinson is also unlikely to play first grade next year.

Seems like 2 x Couchies and LPT are all pretty happy.. so hopefully no need to go to Nov 1st...

Halangahu not sure but not as concerned if we have the other 3 locked up... not sure how sure how much cash he wants, sort of wouldnt even mind extending 1yr or 2yrs and then we will all know.. but like LPT before this year.. was still developing and hard to value.

Cracked me up my dad is pretty clueless, uses AI to figure out our 2027 roster..heaps of errors but the standout was Timmins in the 30.. took me ages to figure out what on earth was going on.. its cause for some reason hes in zero tackle cause he has a dev contract coming up.. tbf I rly liked him.. not quite heidke like but he was tough and uncompromising.. but holy sh**, feels like its been 2yrs since ive seen him play football...

This is the challenge unfortunately, these kids kind of have to be locked into 3 or 4yr timelines.. and guys get injuries and it blows out.. or someone like Weatherall that we are stuck with but has not come on anywhere near the rate we had hoped..

Its why I liked Jett Liu and Webster.. doing their thing in Flegg without promise of first grade.. if it takes an extra year or 2 no problems.. get there when u get there.. where as the big 3 and even CST and Weatherall were all locked into contracts as teenagers.
