Agree mate. Come off the bench and play back row, got some mongrel in him, strong defender. Can play in the centres if there’s an injury out wide. Perfect choice with the 6 man bench

This would be for 2028 but there are some very good outside backs coming onto the market. Herbie Farnworth, Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow, Heamasi Makasini (Tigers winger or centre, only 18!), Xavier Coates, Bradman Best. A few others as well but I disregarded then due to their age.

Especially with Luai going to the Chiefs in 2028. They still have a couple of guys like Javon Andrews and Jock Madden on their books that can be enterprising when Luai departs.

as soon as I saw Luai going I instantly thought of Ah Kee... I mean tbh Ah Kee is 3-4yrs away.. probably more.... but the pathway looks much better when there is no marquee man in front.. but Latu Fainu is also still in front at this point.. maybe ends up a 7.
might come back to how much Ah Kee likes Young if hes the coach.. cause Tigers r a pretty easy sell right now with their success... and I think we have a lot of pain still to come.

The Benji factor is so huge for a young half aye, it feels like if Benji just talks to him over the phone or in person he’s gonna sign there ASAP

Has a good long kicking game. In the first 2 or 3 games, he looked promising. Utterly terrible since.

Sad really. A lot of us pinned our hopes on him especially seeing how well he played in a couple of games when at Cronulla and Flanno just couldn't resist signing him well in advance. I'd love us to get Jock Madden. He is a very good 5/8th in my opinion.

Me thinks they’re quietly pleased they got out of contract with a 31 year old half on $1.2m with the kids they’ll inevitably need to top up
