I'm just wondering if there is any traction around LPT's knee injury and if the Dragons see him as either long term or worth the risk. I put my faith in DA and this kid would not be doing this test the market crap without DA knowing. There is certainly more to this than we will ever know but hey good luck to him anyway, I certainly dont want anyone there who doesn't want to be there, regardless of who he is. Not that long ago we weren't willing to take the risk with Ramsay, loved the guy but we cant afford to carry that risk.
Though I think Ramsey's problem was far more severe than LPTs knee.

I'm thinking DA does want to keep LPT, but given the risk that his on-field time could be limited by the knee issue, the club may have put forward a relatively modest offer. From LPT’s point of view, that might not feel acceptable.

Yep that could be the case George, but as I said it's only guesswork by us, we'll never know the truth no matter what he does, even if he stays.

Just listened to the most recent Dragons Den podcast

Flanno made some interesting comments that may indicate why LPT is not going to Vegas:

Some players were selected on reputation/experience

Attitude to training is critical

Some people are delusional in thinking that size translates to power

Can’t take everyone

Some will be disappointed but will get their chance later in the season.

Experience. Flanno should see if he can get Gaz out of retirement. The idea a young player surpasses a veteran seems lost on this 1diot.

When Haas signed with Souths, I noticed at least one Rugby League show saying happy players don't leave. But I didn't see any say that about Koloamatangi when he signed with us.
