Luc has had his best season for a number of years, this usually means that extension of contract year. He looks fit and strong. In saying that I genuinely believe we have a number of young forwards that can take both his and Su'a place next season. Its a natural progression to give a start to those forwards. My 2027 pack would look like this:

I wouldn't stop him or Su'a leaving.

f***ing hope so.. and I hope whoever they choose can change those minds, cause atleast 4 of those are off contract come Nov 1st.. we dont want them fighting with teammates and hardened against us to the point we cant salvage the relationship... this is to me was more the danger than the short-term wins and losses..

I just hope all this information is presented to the guys making the decisions.. and they have honest feedback from all our young players in particular on Flanno and Young and what the playing group actually wants to happen.

Besides being 0-6 and looking slower than a wet week, those players thinking/asking for a release SHOULD BE THE REASON THAT FLANNO IS REMOVED NOW. HIS POSITION IS UNTENABLE.

To my old coaches eyes it would appear that he has lost the sheds It wasn't a good look yesterday on foxsports showing Young wearing a suit giving a half time speil. But the biggest thing that caught my eye was when he was speaking the players had no eye contact with him. Their body language suggested whatever message he was trying to express didn't reach the audience it was meant to.

I cant believe how we have self imploded over the last 7 weeks, I suppose thats what happens when there are so many issues that were swept under the carpet and ignored for years. It makes you wonder just poorly the club has been operating. It also makes you wonder if there will even be a Dragons side in the next few years, and if there is what will that look like. It really is a embarrassing state of affairs, but not as sad as getting booed off the field by the home crowd !!!
