And what pray tell do we do with Kade Reed, jettison him like we have with others in the past. Dont you share my view that after a full year in Ressies, with possibly a handful of Firsts games he will be ready to lead us round the park in '27. Reed is our future and am excited over envisioning him calling the shots behind the likes of KK, Loko, Jake.

Even if things go perfectly for Kade and he remains uninjured and unconcussed... he won't be playing 27 rounds next year, certainly not as a starting half, i.e. we need to bring in a 7 its just a question of who.. perhaps a Toby Sexton level 7 that is solid but is just temporary, or do we aim higher?
If we were a Top 8 team we would definitely go for a quality 7, I dont think Reed can get us out of this mess, nor should we put him in that position... ideally we would want him as the 3rd half playing NSW Cup for 2+ years, and coming into first grade for injury... we've been fortunate (well arguably) that our halves in Hunt, Kyle and even Atkinson have been bullet-proof.. they are never injured.. but look at a side like the warriors and their halves injuries, without a 3rd half they would be toast.. and in our case if Kade is going so good that he needs to be first pick, then fantastic, one of the other halves drops back to cup or another position (Atkinson the most flexible).

Avarillo looks the consumate utility outside back, plays centre, wing, full back. Sure has speed to burn. Defense is fine plus he has also spent some time as a pivot so some ball skill. Quite a resume by a guy in his mid 20s.
