I'm with you on Holmes. I think he is jack of Flanno. He's basically been neutered playing on the right - where he was again against South's and look what happened. Is he out of form - absolutely, but how do we get him back in form playing him out of position. A professional coach should know this.

Another player off contract in the centres for next year that’s going a bit under the radar is Will Penisini. Would absolutely love to bring him in. Still very young with quite a lot of NRL experience.

I think it's time for Penisini to go to union. He's not suited at all to Vlandysball and it's showing. I thikn on his own, he's a good player with talent, but unfortuantely, rugby league has left behind outside backs that aren't blisteringly quick.

Watching The Eels game Volkman playing in the halves having a great game ...... Is this the guy we had and let him go because of an injury ....... He would of solved one of our halves problems ........

Oh dear, Volkman is not that guy. In cup he doesn’t even stand out that much really

Guys like Illias and Volkman who were with us and are now gone are so far from the level required

If we had a half decent coach like Holbrook for example, lots of players we think aren’t quite good enough or shit would go up a level

Atkinson way better than the shit that’s being served up, you’ll see next season if we make the right appointment

Atkinson is a good 6. Just has a terrible 7 and out of date numbskull of a coach.

Had a full tour of the CoE and I can say the videos amd photos don't do it justice.

The facilities and lay out are top class.
I've not seen other clubs but you would have to think it has to be a big sell when signing players.
We just need to get the coach and GM right now.

Also spoke to a director about future expansion plans including taking over the lease on the Huts and more field space where the dog park is and a few other topics...

Gus mentioned it before the season started.. you can keep the 8 interchanges, but allow any of the 6 to come on as needed..

I think it fixes a lot (not all) of the issues, you still only get ur 8 changes.. but ur not holding guys back 'just in case' of injuries.. and that young kid you want to give 10mins for a debut.. now u can fly his family down and pretty much guarantee he will make that debut... but the way it works now you rly cant promise anything for backs in particular...

100% mate. Now it’s 3 forwards and the 4th player held back as long as possible and hope there’s no injury to a winger etc.

Can’t see why all 6 can’t be used for the 8 interchanges, doesn’t mean you need to. Each to their own

I don’t think Kyle will be dropped this week, I expect him to start at 7 and Reed at 14. I think Reed needs to be slowly brought into 1st grade and now with Liddle injured for a while I’m expecting Reed to start getting some meaningful game time. Cookie can’t keep playing 80.
