I found this fascinating.. because did he just forget Loko's name? Did he mean to include Halangahu's name? I was sort of thinking we were more likely to retain Loko over Halangahu cause hes that 1.5yrs older and we can give him gametime now..... but now who knows... we still do have 5 months to smooth these relationships over.. but I just wonder whether if either player is already hardened against us.

Just on Jasais Ah Kee, I was watching the Souths-Manly game and it was several years ago now but remembered, I'm pretty sure Brandon Wakeham had massive wraps on him when he was 16, 17, 18. Turned out to be fringe first grader. So maybe losing Jasais Ah Kee won't be as bad as a lot of people think.

Apparently Mamouzelos been told hes not required by the bunnies.. given they gave up Cook and now Humphries, they surely have a gun 9 incoming.. surely one of Pattie or Healey that we were linked too?

They’ve got a really good young hooker SG ball age. Maybe they want to clear a pathway for him?

Just a guess, think they sign a fairly low salary first grade hooker to get them by but 2-3 years from now Cody Hill will be their hooker

Hope so.. 1 more on the market... feel like we have another 4-5 signings to come yet to fill out our salary cap.. a young hooker, a 2028 hooker, 1 or 2 OB's and some fullback injury coverage in there.... anything from there is gravy.

This year has been our version of the 2023/2024 Dogs recruitment drive... we have whittled down our roster and swept the player market clean... to reset us for the next chapter.

It is super exciting.. but the rubber meets the road next year, our spending is mostly done for a few years.. and we have to do something with it... we need to get the value out of our big names like we perhaps didn't with Gutho, Val etc.. I think we have made some very shrewd signings though.. far more upside than the ones under Flannos reign..
