this doesnt surprise me sadly.. feel like they will let 1 of Hammer or Herbie go to clear funds and get Jack done..

Would be different if Jack had some desire to come home, but ive never heard any word out of his mouth that indicates that he does.. I think we just rly want to right the wrongs and bring local kids home...

I honestly don't think that Jack Bostock will be leaving the Dolphins - unless he is paid over a million a year. I am certain that he will resign big time with the Dolphins and I don't think that he regrets leaving the Dragons one bit.

The only players that come to mind that left us and returned in the past 20 years are - Mark Gasnier (left to play Union in France in 2008 and returned in 2010); Trent Merrin (left at end of 2025 to join Penrith, then Super League then back to us in 2020); Josh Kerr (left us to join the Dolphins in 2023 and returned in 2026); Luciano Leilua (debuted for us in 2016, left us to play stints with Wests Tigers then the Cowboys and came back to us in 2024).

There have been many players who left and not returned in the last 20 years not in any order namely Reece Robson, Jason Saab, Brett and Josh Morris, Amos Roberts, Euan Aitken, Tim Lafai, Gareth Widdop, Adam Clune, Matt Dufty, Jai Field, Rueben Garrick, Jackson Ford, Zac Lomax, Jackson Hastings, Matt Prior, Savelio Tamale, etc and there are many others that have recently departed young and old (eg Sloan) who could come back or stay far away from us.

Many players obviously left us for retirement and definitely won't be coming back.

There could be others that can be added if you like to guys.

Two time SGI players

Hi, I'm doing a wee project & wondering who, apart from Trent Merrin & Mark Gasnier, have had 2 stints playing for the joint venture? Any help would be much appreciated. Cheers
