I have questions on the squad for next season and how we are tracking moving towards pre-season

1. Who out of Weatherall/Burton/ONeill is top 30
2. Who out of Gutherson/Holmes/Kerr/Suli/Flano/Atkinson/Fale has been moved on
3. Sloan - has he really taken his two dogs and moved to castleford for 5 years whilst simultanously winning teh Koori Knockout
4. Centre/Wing depth
5. Another edge forward

Good questions Rufus - Daniel Anderson knows the answers in collaboration with Ben Creagh and Dean Young.

Love to see it. Poor Feagai must be wishing it wasn't the end. Great to see Sami already involved. And glad Ryan's head knock must not have been serious.

Any news on Sloan watch..?

Muhleisen set to extend for 2027

They need to milk the shit out of this to other young guys saying we’ll stick with ya even if you get a real bad injury
Assume this means the young hooker we were looking to sign isnt happening... but I dont mind it for 12mths cause we need hooker depth badly... I think he will be workable if we have creativitity from the other 3 members of the spine.. tough kid, im useless at assessing hookers ball service but some say he is pretty decent at delivering a ball in front and has been a loss when injured in NSW Cup... literally bleeds Red & White also.

Assume we are still chasing that bigger name 2028 Hooker come Nov 1st though.. Pattie I imagine is no longer happening cause the raiders have ejected his rivals in Starling and Brailey.

I thought so too.
This is what I have gotten from the internet -

Daniel Anderson parted ways with the Parramatta Eels in a highly acrimonious and messy manner on two separate occasions, first as their head coach and later as their executive football manager.

1. 2010 Sacking as Head Coach
Despite leading the Eels to an iconic, fairytale Grand Final appearance in 2009, Anderson was abruptly sacked at an emergency board meeting in September 2010 with a year left on his contract.
    • The Fallout: The exit was preceded by intense media speculation and internal board politics, including a 12-page explosive report subsequently mailed to 50,000 members by club chairman Roy Spagnolo that openly blamed Anderson for roster failures and player rifts. [1]
    • The Return: Showing how volatile the club's administration was, the bridge wasn't permanently burned. Anderson actually returned to the club in late 2013 as the General Manager of Football Operations.

2. 2016 Sacking as Football Manager
His second departure was significantly worse, ending in an administrative scandal. In 2016, the NRL handed down severe penalties to Parramatta for systemic, long-running salary cap rorting.
    • The Fallout: As part of the punishments, the NRL cancelled the registrations of five top Eels officials, including Anderson. Anderson initially launched legal action against the NRL to fight the ban, but while he was suspended, new Parramatta administrator Max Donnelly formally terminated his contract.
    • The Bitter End: Donnelly publicly noted that Anderson was being cut off because he couldn't legally perform his duties, and the club went as far as demanding the immediate return of his company car.

He hasn't moved and is only at the CoE 3 day a week, a lot of his time is spent travelling to meetings.

I don't think the travel worries him that much he does a lot of his work while in the back of the van.

I have no info but I think he is going nowhere.
Funny i rang into Ando and asked him straight out what was circulating he said he don’t have social media and it’s the first he heard about it and he is pretty much a straight shooter doesn’t BS

Surely he wouldn't go back after that. Surely they wouldn't want him back after that.

Was just listening to podcast &
Cook said we stopped talking to him because we were/are chasing Healey and Pattie. Don’t know what the go is with either of them but we haven’t got them yet!
