I thought our pack of local juniors, Egan, Stewart, Couchman's along with LPT and erstwhile local Luciano were excellent ( Frank Facer Frank Facer would be furious!). It was the rest of the team that was the problem. Why was Luciano only on for 30 min? It looks like he starting to pack the kgs on again.

This is what as a coach you are measured on, amongst on field success, the ability to improve individual players and the squad as a whole. Young should not even be mentioned even in jest as being possible next head coach.

not meaning to kick us while we r down, but the last 2 games were in the wet also which always brings teams together.. we were brave though tbf.. that game tonight though was there for the taking tbh.. warriors were in 2nd gear and injuries, and we had plenty of ball..

Most inept team i have ever seen attacking wise, no clue what to do with the pill, no idea how to straighten the attack, no idea how to pass properly, no structure at all when attacking, everything is slow and predictable, TimW and Lancaster watching the game, watching fans start leaving from the 62nd minute onwards, watching a clueless, dumb team have no idea, how to score points, game was over as soon as Warriors hit 16 we cant score that many..
Only positive tonight was the rain stopped at fulltime and gave the brave fans who turned out time to walk to their cars and not get wet..

We have a current 7 that is slow and not much chop, the defence hardly have to worry about him. Can’t run, can’t kick, can’t organise.

A 6 that is under extreme duress week after week, a useless centre that has fallen way off a cliff and a defensive liability who drops the ball at least 3 times a game and misses at least 6 tackles a game.

2 wingers that are useless and slow as a wet week who both love to come in and make a mess defensively and you hold your breath when the ball goes near them just waiting for an error , a fullback on 1 leg that sadly can’t keep up anymore, a reserve fullback who is scared of contact and rarely does the tough stuff and when he does it’s half arsed like he’s playing 2 handed touch.

Like seriously, how fucked are we 1-7. Thank god the forward pack averaging 22 years of age without Cookie can hold their heads high

Just sad times Ayios. Never thought I would see the day that we are not a force and piss weak. This year is a complete and utter write off. Too many crappy seasons and too many hopes dashed year after year. We have been in a rut for what seems forever. We get all excited only to be let down and deflated.

But after saying all of that we still live in hope that 2027 will be a better year.

We’re averaging 13 points a game. That is beyond useless. I’m stunned how bad our 1-7 is each week. They just seem to get worse every game. Just put LKT at 7 and let him be, Kyle is an absolute passenger

I really didn't understand why anyone thought this was the week we would break the duck. They are another premiership contender and are in 2nd position for a reason. The Wahs were in like 6th gear all night and still thumped us. 30-12 is very flattering to us: the weather is what stopped this from being a 40 pt game. The gulf in class was obvious from the get go.

As much as our young pack has been going great guns all year, but they got taught a lesson tonight by arguably the best pack in the comp. They decisively lost the physical battle: Every Wahs middle ran well above 100m; Erin Clark(151m), Jackson Ford (167m), Fisher Harris (166m), Stowers Smith (129m), etc Conversely only 2 of our boys did. With the space their ruck dominance was creating, they were clinical in patches when they needed to be.

We should be grateful that they can't kick goals because it would have been 34 or 36-12. 30-12 massively flatters us,

Not every Wahs middle ran over 100m. Vaimauga ran for only 52m. Ford played most of the game on the left edge. The other 3 did run for 100m. But so did 3 of ours.
Warriors were better, but the scoreboard didn't flatter us. If anything it flattered them because the last try was a gift.

We were very good for most of the first half against Penrith.
