Absolutely that hit was a hit from a bygone era, 75% of the time these days because of player fatigue for one a winger that has reached top pace will break that type of tackle by a 2nd rower. But not today

I'll tell you now we simply cannot allow LPT to go anywhere that kid is to my eye developing very well. 17 tackles non missed by a prop in half a game of football is outstanding.
After a tackle he is much more quickly clearing the ruck area and runs back into the defensive line. He is up against the current SOO prop and in my view is definitely matching him.

That was Atkinson fault and God knows why Lawrie is on the field he is just too poor laterally and missed a tackle that should have been made. back to back within 10 minutes the lead is gone
