Loko had his best defensive game. But like all the rest, other than Ryan, yes not even Toby, no one averaged over 100m. Shows how little possession we had in the last 40. Shonkies strangled us good and proper.

I debate that. Sele is a good player but injury has ruined his career with us. Too much of a liability.

Tu break showed the talent he has, good bomb defuse then simply burned his man. So quick was he none if our slow coaches could get within 20m of him for second phase play and a certain try under the sticks. Seems to have improved his handling, if he can do same with his defensive reading he could well be a keep.

Noting Tobys mins were well down on his norm. Either having his work load reduced which is a smart thing or because of his two misdemenors last week likely from fatigue.

It is different 1sts to Ressies believe me I know. Mirroring those figures from one to the other is rarely done. In my view after watching those you have named they will all have the opportunity to play 1sts and test their limits. When and where are the issues

Problem with TU he is a rocks or diamond type of player. Did that particular play brilliantly. Then does a stupid offload that created the ability for the opposition to change the momentum of the game in the 2nd half. Every game he consistently makes errors which are punished by the opposition

I said in my other posts you simply cannot expect the numbers they had against the Broncos to be replicated every week. They are still too young and inexperienced

Sele should be in the team as far as I'm concerned. Not sure what the problem is but it seems to me to be something other than ability or performance on the field. He's not very big for a prop. Hutchinson is probably bigger but his height and weight isn't listed on the Dragons website.
It would be a mistake to put all the young forwards in at the same time. Have Couchman's, Stewart, Egan. I'd get rid of Lawrie and Kerr and replace them with Nick Tsougranis or Halangahu and Gular. Stick with that for now and then Hutchinson closer to the end of the season.

The bench should be lids, Ryan, Jake and Guler with Luc starting … Ryan/jake getting at least 40 and balance the load with Loko/toby

Cant agree with this one RVH on numerous occasions I watched him try and chase and didn;t make any of them, he is just way too slow and other teams are targeting that. For me he is a ressie and a backup in an emergency. I would have had Sloan in there at least.

All that happened yesterday was we looked ok in the first half because the Sharks made errors and were too stupid to realise that our issue has always been our backs and edge defense. As Fitzgibbon said he told them what to do in the 2nd half and presto we fold like a deck of cards, none of this good Dragons bad Dragons. We are as good or as bad as what other teams allow us to be. Our forwards can hold their own but they cant do everything. So lets just cop it sweet this year and not pretend that we have discovered nirvana with DY. Lets do our diligence with the coach and f#@k these backs off next year, then and only then may we be able to dictate terms in a game.
