Point is Jd when was our last quality #7. Hornby was good at best, Matt Head too. Do we have to back as far as Noel Goldthorpe in the 90s.

I understand where
RedVHeartbeat is coming from. I'd say a 'good' halfback but his ability as a utility on top of that made him a star. Very few of the best, game managing, ball playing halfbacks are any good other than as a halfback. Hornby could play well anywhere in the backline and didn't he fill it at dummy half a few times?Justadragon
