Unless our backs have improved a 1000%, then we will be the same shit show as it was the first time we played them.
If their coach rests Ponga due to Origin, we have a chance.Unless our backs have improved a 1000%, then we will be the same shit show as it was the first time we played them.
I'm souring on Young now as our '27 coach. And if he dont return Leilua to the 17 this week, dump, Guler/Kerr/Lawrie and promote Jake Webster and Ryan Hutchinson, I like others am calling for his head.
First graders did not just appear out of the ether, they came thru the lower grades. So what you say does not hold water. How do you find out if a guy is NRL standard unless you give him game time. We have nothing to lose, but something none of us wanna win, the dreaded Spoon, so in desperate times desperate measures are needed as the incumbents are not cutting the mustard and Webster and Hutchinson have earned a crack, if for nothing else, their inexhaustible thirst for work.we like Hutchinson and Webster for what they do in cup - but Kerr/Lawrie when they play cup outperform them.
We don't see training, we don't see everything - we assume that long minutes/big tackle counts/lots of metres in cup translates to the same in 1sts. It doesn't.
Really? Pretty sure I haven't watched as much of Cup as you but from what I've seen, Lawrie and Kerr are also average in Cup.we like Hutchinson and Webster for what they do in cup - but Kerr/Lawrie when they play cup outperform them.

You might promote one of them and give them a taste but i doubt it.
And, as we all know, the issues with winning this game have nothing to do with the middle third ... it will all be about Marzhew and Young running around Feagai/Tu/Suli and Holmes.
Have to. Lawrie and Kerr are both known as poor 1st grade products. We don't know what we've got in these two young players. Let's find out...I'd give Hutcho and Webster perhaps 1-3 games end of season.. just for a taste.. probably 1 at a time..
Well in my days you would have weekly discussions with your 1sts coach and selectors. You would discuss players and in reality those mentioned unless actually watching a ressies game would really rely on your summation of a player.First graders did not just appear out of the ether, they came thru the lower grades. We just don't have the backline this season but that named 19 will be it for the rest of this season barring injuriesDragons team:
Don't like it one bit. Kyle needs to be gone. I'd have Sloan in for Tu, Halangahu for Kerr.
- Clinton Gutherson
- Setu Tu
- Moses Suli
- Valentine Holmes
- Mathew Feagai
- Daniel Atkinson
- Kyle Flanagan
- Loko Jnr Pasifiki Tonga
- Damien Cook
- Toby Couchman
- Dylan Egan
- Hamish Stewart
- Ryan Couchman
- Jacob Liddle
- Luciano Leilua
- Josh Kerr
- Blake Lawrie
- Emre Guler
- Tyrell Sloan
Looks likely to be as you say Joe.We just don't have the backline this season but that named 19 will be it for the rest of this season barring injuries
Agree somewhat but what happened when Lawrie and Kerr were on the field was our intensity dropped straight away and they started to come through the middle. I would at least have Halangahu on for either of them.we like Hutchinson and Webster for what they do in cup - but Kerr/Lawrie when they play cup outperform them.

One thing you can say for our last few coaches: They are extremely obstinate. Once they get an idea in their heads, it takes a lot to change it.well derp young plays derp
Ryan or Toby from the bench with Stewart at lock and we dont expose that drop at all in the same manner ..
Young is forcing a dual middle change of both middles when he doesnt need to becuase he is stubborn on stewart being an edge failing to recognise the pre change of coach we looked a little more potent that way.
At least (if rumors true) in chasing blore we are moving back to stewart in the middle and that makes us a lot more effective.
we will essentially add KK and Stewart to the middle rotation in replacement of Lawire/Kerr/Guler ... instanly better.

CT in jersey 22 will probably come in for TUDragons team:
