I know our 1~7 has been bad but couldn't a better coach do more with the attacking game of the forwards? Rather than just having them hit it up, which they do very well, design some attacking plays using them? I don't know what they would look like which is why I have no plan or ambition to become a coach. If Deano can't do it, maybe he needs to be content as an assistant. But needs to do better with that too based on his record.

Your right slow slow slow change it up but he continues to keep Gutho at fullback which is the problem hasn’t looked at changing up positions I know we have to use the top 30 but you change there positions keep Sloan in wing Gutho to 5/8 Val to fullback maybe who knows what we same team same positions means same results so frustrating as we still losing what’s the worst that can happen

100%, its the same team with the same result. Getting us with speed has just about happened in every game bar one, and if that game would have gone for 5 min longer we would have lost for the same reason.

The Raiders will be tough to beat. They will take their frustration of their recent losses out on us and beat us on their home ground. We will play decent enough footy but the Raiders will be too strong and win by 22 points.

Their backs are so much better than ours it's laughable. Though their halfback sucks as well. I don't know what has gone so wrong for them. Is it all the halfback?

Not sure Morgan. I don't think Ricky knows as well otherwise they would be winning more games. They won the minor premiership last year. Both the Raiders and Broncos (minor and major prem winners in 2025) are really down on form - premiership hangovers. Players not putting in as much as pressure has been released. Canberra lost Fogarty to the Sea Eagles and he played a very integral part in many of their wins last year. Sanders not so good.

I only hope that Val Holmes kicks all of the conversions of all of our tries (2 out of 2 - hahaha!). Seriously, his conversion attempt virtually right in front after one of our tries to get closer or was it to level the scores against the Knights on Friday was a joke. He kicks it, we win. He has become a heart in the mouth kicker now and we don't need that.

I think Canberra overachieved last season. But didn't expect them to be sitting second last by round 17 this year. I thought somewhere around 6~10.
Happily shocked by the Broncos demise. That really is a big surprise. On paper you would have to think they have close to the best, if not the best, team in the competition.

Generally, although I am only thinking this, a couple of top 8 teams each year drop out the next year for some reason and another two get in. This time will be the Raiders and Broncos methinks.
So glad that the Broncos' form was down enabling us to beat them this year. Just wished that we didn't fall asleep and let them get close to beating us.
