I'm 1000% with ya mate, been wanting Fifita out the door for 1-2yrs.. but im just saying he was the best forward last week.. his hitups when fresh are double the PCM of any other middle in our squad.. hes uncontainable.. maybe its been injury thats held him back.. I dunno.. just saying that I can see why he got picked.. maybe they want to test him up a grade and see how he handles it.. will only be an impact role though, replacing LPT.. LPT has very little impact, he doesnt know how to use his body yet... that said I thought Sele would have come in, but I actually like this one.

But yes Nick needs to be there, but id replace Luciano with him... I would have

Mate I’d love nothing more than for Fifita to serve me up a big shit burger to chew on and prove me wrong. Hope he goes well

I think you are right in your last sentence Jo. I feel sure that SF had some influence in having KF signed. I also think that while his Dad is the coach, his Dad honestly thinks that KF is OK as compared to what he has available and unfortunately all halves we have are below NRL standard. I think that KF will be playing against the Eels next week after the bye in #7 position and for the balance of the year if fit and not suspended.

Well he is in his last few months with us so either they are not sure of whether to extend him or is there a clause in his current contract. Will be interesting to know.

He was when picked up from Manly being spruiked as a future 1st grader in 23. He is a big unit but has been unable to crack a regular spot in the 17 . Seems strange selection on face value without any background information

Two things that strike me, that backline is very slow and the bench only has Liddle with any pace but won't be able to play a utility backs role if CT goes down again.

This game will be a decision point for Kyle (Note: if he does play)... its our last 'easy' game for ages.. we have a savage savage few months of footy to follow it.. if we lose this the spoon race will become a reality.

That said the halves are the least of my worries, I just hope Flanno can get us firing again.. we're starting to get a few players back on board too (Allan, CT, Sua + Sele/Fifita/BMM starting to get match fit), its really selections from here, have to use Nick imo in that 17, we need those young legs to replace Egan, some x-factor.

Wouldn't mind seeing stewart at 2rf instead of couchman. Test it out. Nick T went well at ctr. Who knows, maybe stewart can perform better at 2rf than couchman.
