Was there really much improvement? Beat the Tigers who are by far the worst team in the competition right now and narrowly lost to the Warriors whose form has been very patchy since they lost their first choice halfback. Before that was 2 of the 3 worst games I've seen all year. Losing to Newcastle without Ponga and Canberra the following week. The only other really low quality game I saw was our first game against Gold Coast.

But the afternoon quickly became another reminder of how far they've fallen. Their right edge was repeatedly carved open, Campbell controlled the game almost at will, and a 38-18 defeat all but confirmed the club's first wooden spoon. With 16 losses from 18 games, this has moved well beyond a rough season and into historic low point territory

How will the players "celebrate" winning that "coveted wooden spoon". Will it be placed in a special cabinet open to view at the Club or C of E as a reminder for all to see that we hit rock bottom in 2026. Will it have a sign in front of it saying "Never Again" or "Aiming For Another"?
Will they have a photograph of the squad and coaches in front of the spoon?
I know the spoon is not a physical thing but a figurative one. It is just my warped sense of humour coming out unfortunately.
