Are there enough top 30 forwards available? I guess Fifita, BMM and RFM will come into the team. 3 who won't be at the club next year. I guess won't be anyway.
What happened to Molo? And Lawrie as well.Hope we have another debut like jett liu but more likely to be experience. Molo I'd say would be a picked if fit. RFM potentially too.
I'm probably way out of line here. I probably shouldn't say anything but sometimes I just can't help myself. I was surprised about this last year. I think it was the second last round where it was a must win game against a struggling Parramatta. Liddle's wife or GF gave birth early in the morning. He chose to sit out the game that afternoon.Lawrie will be available (birth of a child last game), and possibly Molo and Sua.
Should be personal decision made regardless of position on the table and without pressure from the club.I'm probably way out of line here. I don't know about Lawrie. Did his wife/gf already have the baby earlier in the week or expecting any moment while the team was in NZ? Personally I'd prefer Tonga in the 17 anyway but I bring it up because I was just watching the Tigers-Manly game. The Tigers players wife/gf gave birth late morning today and the Tigers player rushed from the hospital to play.
If there were complications, I'd call it criminal if he rushed to play but if not, if wife and baby were healthy..........![]()
I'm not a fan or a hater but the last 3 weeks is as good as I've seen him play. Can they pretend Kyle has a hammy and try someone else in the halves.

After watching a few others we have, I'm of the opinion now he's the best we have atm, yes I would have liked to trial others but in the last few weeks he hasn't been too bad, next year will be a different year and most likely he wont be in the halves, but for now I have to give him some credit for the way he is playing. Can they pretend Kyle has a hammy and try someone else in the halves.
Watsford has already said he wont be in the halves, imo I think Atkinson and LKT will be the halves and Kyle as some form of utilityDo you really think Kyle won’t be in the halves next year ?
If he is not in the halves where will he play then ?
He will be in the team somewhere, won’t he ?
When Flanno said he will fit Kyle in somewhere, I think he meant the top 30, not top 17. Any injury in the halves or hooker and Kyle will be in. Which isn't the worst situation for the team to be in.What kind of utility ? Liddle and Cook are already there, so where would Kyle fit in ?
If Kyle plays a game "not too bad", a good number of Dragons supporters are signing him up as a marquee halfback for the next 10 years. So it seems anyway.Look Kyle was good against the Shonkies but clunky in attack against the Wahs. His defence has been ok and his goal kicking pretty good. His kicking game is poor.
He has been solid without being what we need and dropping him now does not really make sense as Glover is leaving and Illias is not seen as the answer.
But the question remains will Flanno only use home as a fringe player next year ? I have my doubts….
He'll be a good back up half but is Kade Reed not going to move up to reserve grade? When Flanno said he will fit Kyle in somewhere, I think he meant the top 30, not top 17. Any injury in the halves or hooker and Kyle will be in. Which isn't the worst situation for the team to be in.
