Thats probably the key that Melb showed against us, try and run us off our feet, make no mistakes and we are there for the taking. Though I think Parra have some mistakes in them, should be interesting to see how we stack up.
Yep agree Rev, even after 2 Rd's, if you have a look at the ladder the last 6 teams are as predicted. The only abomination is the Broncs and Knights have really swapped positions. So already there are rumblings at Manly and Cows, its make or break for them this weekend and we play Parra , the top of the 6 teams running last. If we lose to Parra we will have the longest losing streak under the JV, and that has happened under Flanno's watch, they are the facts, you can have as many excuses as you like, now there are no more.
I just don't get it. He dropped Sione Finau after one game where he wasn't even that bad. I'm fine with or support him laying down hard standards though one game when he wasn't even that bad seems a bit overboard. But then you know who can play one bad game after another after another but still gets picked every week. Not just him. Suli, Sele, Gular, Tu, CT and Kerr as well. In the case of Tu, can't drop him after one bad game even though that it exactly what he did with Finau. Can anyone make sense of it?

It is just plain poor coaching and management with a huge amount of stubbornness thrown in is how I see things. And to top it off, poor recruitment and retention which has been the hallmark of our continuing poor yearly performances for nearly the past decade.

There lies the shortcomings of our squad Eric. We have said it so many times - here, there and everywhere (ooh another song) - we need depth in speedy players and especially ones that are evasive and quick thinking. If we don't have these fellas in the club then look throughout the world and get them. Don't muck around and give us all this be patient thing because thats been said repeatedly and for too long. Just get the players, that is all we have to do. A big job I know but people are being paid good money to do this sort of thing. This has to be a direction of the Board. Please do not fail to do this.
Yep. I don't think anyone would suggest Flanno's recruitment and retention has been good. Or has been anything but bad. But I have a lot of confidence in Daniel Anderson. A hard operator with a eye for talent. But it'll take a while for his influence to show. Deadwood, as they say, will take at least to the end of this year to get off the books.
