I know he’s gonna miss a few weeks but if there’s any evidence for ACL’s not being as troublesome these days it’s Ryan Couchman

He’s been awesome in his first 3 games back, offloads, tackle breaks and challenging the defensive line every hitup

Gives me hope that Egan can come back and produce at a high level albeit playing on an edge is different to doing grunt work in the middle

Would bring in fale for CT. His form has dropped off. Last year he would bulldoze over defenders but this year he's taking the tackle. Not enough power through his carries. Fale also gives us am aerial threat. Swap Holmes and suli too.

New rules have completely fkd our gameplan with the big boys & conservative play. The repeat 6 agains bring fatigue into the game sooner & there's more value on athleticism throughout the team, especially in the middle. It also means teams need to capitalise with tries when they have their block of good possession & territory. Kyle needs to be replaced with LKT for this sole reason. We're not defending our way to victory, it's too difficult.

We need to pick the younger athletic fwds to replace the couchman twins. Imo we can't team up Kerr/Guler/Lawrie together, at most pick 2 of them because they're all plodders. I doubt Guler & Lawrie will dish up another good performance, hope I'm fkn wrong. None of this will happen but it should.

Next 3 weeks is huge for our 6 and 7. Get to 3-3 and the heat comes off a fair bit. Anything less then the heat is turned right up on Flanno to make changes in the halves
