I hope he has freedom to roam around, a bit like Gutho in support play. Gutho is slow but always in support for offloads, honestly would tell Sloan to do the same. We need to play to his strengths in attack a bit more.

I'm disappointed Tu will be dropped, he's had a very tough start to his nrl career with Dogs, Storm & Eels. All have elite kickers & he didn't do much wrong tbh. I actually thought he played more to his strengths against the Eels, where he was bouncing around busting tackles in his unorthodox style. I would've kept him & built on that confidence.

Suli has strong yardage work, his carries often skittle the oppo allowing the next player hitup to be effective too. Sloan & Buchanan aren't known for their yardage work. Other backline players & our fwds will need to lift otherwise we'll be stuck in our end alot. I hope we throw the ball around a bit to utilise Buchanan & Sloan speed.

This game is intriguing.

Making changes was right. But once again, Flanno's changes are utterly illogical.

I agree, Dave. Tu hasn’t lacked effort, and he’s done about as well as he could on the end of a misfiring back line. It feels like he, Sloan and maybe Fale are all effectively competing for the same spot.

Well here we go ladies and gents. It doesn’t get any more desperate than this. We are between a rock and a hard place. Win this and they will say you beat the wooden spooners. Lose this and Flanno can start packing his bags’if it’s good enough for Seibold’s it should be enough for flanno who btw has a worse record. I can’t feel sorry for him it’s his own doing but I feel sorry for the players and other people that have tried to get the Dragons where they should be,instead we have gone backwards. Anyway a win is a win because I can’t see anything over the horizon that we could certainly tick off. I say this with hand on heart and total lack of confidence. Go The Dragons !!!

In about 20 min time I will enter the comfort of a corporate box here at the ground and start eating king prawns and drinking a few cold ones.

Its a bit windy up here today coming up from the south which will favour the team running right to left on your tv in the 1st half. Id say a 6 to 8 point advantage.

I hope in a few hours time I'm not drowning my sorrows away.

Expect we will lose a back to injury (likely holmes), Stewart will have to play centre and the entire team will be derp.
