It's not a bad tactic to do early in the game but I want to sit him down, hold the sides of his head so he can't look away and say something like, "My man, do it on the 3rd or 4th tackle, not the last!" I wonder why the coach hasn't said that. Or if he has, is Kyle ignoring his instructions?
