Well after watching that 1st half this is looking like a 0 - 5 start unfortunately and the faithful that have actually paid to watch a 1st grade team have turned up at the wrong ground.

Very loud booing during the 1st half and as the team left the ground. Very unlike St George supporters but rightly so.

16 zip and from the very 1st set from kickoff the Cowboys showed off their game plan, attack our left edge where LKT is defending.

Atkinson is in my view a running 6, not a game managing 7. He ran twice in that half for a half break and a clean break. Unfortunately Gutho didn't have the speed to take advantage of the clean break and was easily run down from behind.

Our attacking structures using LKT is predictable running across the line turning the ball back inside to Leilua every bloody time, easily defended.

Then Atkinson kicks with a 3 man overlap easily cleaned up. That was a butchered try and a coach killer.

Starting Lawrie didn't work and not substituting Cook with Liddle another error in judgement. One again too many missed tackles in fact worse than last week.

One other revelation the Cowboys have speed speed speed we don't running the same predictable attack plays.

Something has to change in the 2nd half and quickly.
