Very smart play. Tho I dont condone passing without looking, his was spot on.Dug right into the line rather than stopping, pivoting, passing a couple a metres before the line.

He was busy but Latu and Tonga consistently bent the line and hit hard in defence. Was impressive by Blocka, but he is still carrying his trademark belly flab. PCMs low still, just cant bend the line anymore. Rest of his career lies in England.

Wow Lawrie again ok then
If we haven't changed , this is definitely the sort of game they lose ....... It's a should win game , but if it's the way of the Dragon game we don't winShould be a beauty. In my own experiences everytime a player returned to his previous club for the 1st time its full of emotion . Lomax v Dragons, Gutho v Eels. Eels at home if they lose today will be desperate for a win, this game is a danger game for us. Consistency is the key moving forwards from our 1st win of the season.
Flanno went with the safe option. He'd have seen picking LPT as too risky.Wow Lawrie again ok then
He knows better than me. I just thought against a big pack we need some size and against a team currently struggling and running last perhaps another 30 min of 1st grade would have been goodFlanno went with the safe option. He'd have seen picking LPT as too risky.
Mate there are a couple of saying that come to mind, Hero to Zero , Peacock to feather duster. In my experience it wouldn't of taken Flano much effort to get the lads up last week against the best, no expectations of a win. Now the shoe is on the other foot. The Eels will be desperate, at home, in front of their faithful, I have alarm bells going off everywhere. I'm worried. If we haven't changed , this is definitely the sort of game they lose ....... It's a should win game , but if it's the way of the Dragon game we don't win....... Let's hope things are changing we really need this .........
I've always thought that Lawrie was a 1st change rotation off the bench forward probably now for 3 yrs. I watched him last week he went well against a poor Rabbits reserve grade team . Saturday is entirely a different kettle of fish. That's a big Eels pack.Is lawrie an upgrade on guler or the same? Hopefully the demotion to nsw cup has fired him up.
I read a comment once, not about Lawrie but I think you could put Lawrie in the same category. The end of a first grade career usually comes quite suddenly. Someone with loads of guts, as in determination but he has a very decent gut as well, but not the most talented forward.I feel this week is a make or break game for Lawrie. If he fires up and is the dominant prop against a big, albeit out of form pack, he just may be able to get his footy career to move forward. On the other hand, if he has a poor game, I do not think we will see much more of him this season.
Oh yes they showed up Blocka big time. His huge numbers are due to him playing long minutes. He was busy but Latu and Tonga consistently bent the line and hit hard in defence.
Blocka to a tee. Add plays with passion for the jumper.Someone with loads of guts, as in determination but he has a very decent gut as well, but not the most talented forward.
Flanno still has his boy sniffing round the top 17. Noting Sione Finau is a couple of spots further back. Toby returns as the starting bookend where he has been outstanding.Mathew Feagai
There must be a personal issue with Sione.Flanno still has his boy sniffing round the top 17. Noting Sione Finau is a couple of spots further back. Toby returns as the starting bookend where he has been outstanding.
