I've said it before and I'll say it again FLANNO LIES, believe about 50% of what he says.
Is that right? I didn't know that. Do you know what he's lying about in this case and if so, are you at liberty to tell the rest of us? Have to wait for the cooling off period to finish?

FACING THE AXE

St George Illawarra coach Shane Flanagan is surely running out of patience with his struggling halfback Lachlan Ilias. Even Ilias’ manager Braith Anasta recently conceded on NRL 360 that the halfback needed to lift to save his spot in the team. Expect a change for the Wests Tigers game next weekend. Flanagan’s replacement options are Lyhkan King-Togia or Jonah Glover, two highly regarded NSW Cup halves.

Flanno will drop anyone and everyone in order to protect Kyle. But this is still better than doing nothing if it's true. King-Togia needs to be in the team. Glover just can't tackle well enough for me.

I was at the game on Friday night and whilst I agree with many of the earlier posts, I don’t think all is lost at this stage. It appears to me that the outcome of games is heavily influenced by the amount of possession a team has during the first half, especially teams whose forwards employ a bash and barge style (like Saints) compared to teams which are more skilled in offloading the ball or adopting set plays.

I think that we will continue to see teams perform well one week only to have big scores put on them the following week. I don’t know whether increased possession is just linked to the basics like holding onto the ball, and not repeating 6 again infringements, or whether a team can be coached to maximise their time in possession. Either way, I’m hoping next week we see a 50% + split in possession to the Saints.

Tigers forward pack next week will be tough, it’s the strength of their team, their not as good as the roosters I feel but if we lose next week and go to 3-5 then it starts to look really grim.
Got a young team playing playing exciting, fast football. The way to beat them will be the way Griffin used to have us play young, fast teams. Try to drag them down to our level and eek out a 2 point win.

To be honest with you both need to go , at least Kyle puts in may not be the superstar we need but at this stage is playing better than Ilias .........

It's true if not for Kyles kicking. It's obviously no good or Flanno would have him do much more of it.
