I find that those blow out scores in both the men's and women's teams are just shocking and embarrassing. The World Cup Championships should only involve 6 nations.

In the 2000 World Cup Samoa were one of the teams getting flogged by 66 points. Nobody would've expected them to reach the final just 22 years later.
Blowouts happen in these tournaments, especially with the Vlandysball 6 again rule in effect - there is absolutely no respite for the lower-ranked teams. Just gotta accept them

Cotter, Carrigan and Tino are in the team on reputation. Both Couchmans are comfortably better than all 3. Hamish is also way better than Preston. If NZ stay relatively injury free, I think they win even if Ponga isn't back for the final. Aus might even lose to Samoa or England.

Im just glad Hammoud has gotten over his injury.. seems like his future might not be at our club, but I have him on that long list of players that could have made it if not for repeated injuries... and I hope for his sake he still does...

Just on PNG, how many of their players will actually be PNG nationals when they enter the comp, Surely it wont be that many because they are hopeless. If getting them into the NRL wasn't a political stunt by our government, I dont know what is.
