It's done now.. though I do worry that now hes been appointed, it will be very difficult to get him out of the role.
But lets hope he works out better than we fear.. that he will get the right response from the players.. lets see how he manages the younger players.. lets see if our game approach changes.. he has the team now, this weekend is a bit of a free swing, I will be rly interested to see the Newcastle game...
Unfortunately we probably need to make a 2027 decision within a month or so, so were gonna have to base it on only a handful of games.. it is what it is.

If Creagh has full autonomy of the head coach hire which the GM of footy should then I would be very impressed if he went down a different route like Arthur/Cheika/Wallace

Head coach still a board decision, creagh may chair the interview panel but wont make the final decision.

Did anyone watch the press conference this morning? I just watched it and I believe that we still have an issue with those in authority.
I know first hand that those in charge and higher up than you will never ever in my own experiences come out and publically say we acknowledge that we may have made an error or errors in judgement.
That seemed to be the tone taken by Lancaster this morning or am I misreading it or am I just tainted by my own experiences?

Someone saying Talau is the assistant coach now also, but still doing NSW Cup.. not sure how he can properly do both roles, especially on game day.. but it is what it is... he certainly seems to be a bit smarter in terms of coming up with a gameplan to suit his roster that week.

He did say the results weren’t good enough but then spoilt what he said by implying the board was pressured into getting rid of good people.
Being a good bloke doesn’t make you a first grade coach.

I understand both sides of the argument, but I enjoyed watching Lancaster put the journos in their place.. he did acknowledge that most of the negative feedback was warranted, but that some of it was poor.. of course Anasta is carrying on like he has taken no responsibility and blamed all of the clubs issues on the journos.
Shame they didnt have everything sorted in time for the press conference, but they got there and we have pretty much all the info now:

(I'm assuming Ennis is still gonna be there... think that was always the plan from the Dragons board)
