Anasta laying the boot in even more, hes loving life.. I just hate how they make up the missing details, tonight he asks 'So did the Dragons want to keep Su'a?' The Journos had no idea.. so just assumed yes ofcourse.. and the narrative continues.
Also not 1 journo has mentioned Halangahu or NickyT as 2nd row options for next year.. its one of the things I dislike about all of em bar maybe Caryannis... BlokeinaBar annoys me the most cause he makes so much content on the game... but never look beyond the starting 17, they dont even know clubs Top 30's when they talk, let alone dev spots etc.. this assumption that KK will play on an edge even.. I mean ffs.. look at our roster.. we need a big middle.. we do not need another 2nd rower..

For the full time rugby league content they do it’s very much the same thoughts in that echo chamber in the studio
They need someone like the shortball on the show (doubt they’d do it) to actually weigh in and say ‘hey guys, they’re actually stacked in the back row with kids coming through so it’s not really a big issue. It’s what top clubs do to manage their cap effectively’

I'm not in the business of defending Anasta but Flanno has done such a good job of hiding them away in NSW Cup while the veterans he recruited or extended just get worse, Anasta might not have any clue about how good they are.

100% as I said in an earlier post, everything is too hard for the Dragons, have a look at the way we have employed all the coaches since Bennett. What the hell holds them back from thinking outside the box. I remember reading posts that if we stuffed up the Flanno decision that the club would be in dire straights. I know hindsight is a wonderful thing, but yet here we are and we are in dire straights and some. So now what can we possibly say about this next coach but god help us, we are in a world of hurt !!!

100% they occasionally get some more left-field info from Guru, but Shortball would be great too (he needs to change up his video format also).. probably needs to be Flegg or Cup content though.. kids that are potentially 1-2yrs away.... but the occasional mention of a 17s or 19s superstar im sure fans would enjoy too......
They Bloke guys did mention that its hard to watch 8 first grade games each week 'for their job'.. year on year... so I get it.. but would love them to spend another day a week researching instead of just repeating the same content each day... but of course more content = more money.. I will say one thing though.. they had Blake Austin on in 1 episode last week... guy was an absolute breath of fresh air.. like I rly enjoyed his take on stuff.... it is a fine line though, cause I also enjoy Gordon Tallis's take on things too. he thinks different... but I dont need his thoughts on every issue.. nor every day.. less is more.

NRL team is in dire straights but the club is doing quite well as far as I know. Maybe that's the problem. They are all scrambling for bonuses they get regardless of how the team is doing.

Here is the sick part of this. We have an AC who most likely will be the Interim and could be the next HC trying to put in a maximum effort for the next 2 weeks to possibly get a win, and maybe the current HC has a slim hope to keep his job. Yeah right !!! This is the exact reason clubs cut ties quickly, to avoid the conflict of interest or further sabotage.

Knowing our management, DY will take over as interim come round 10. 15 games left to play, they’ll probably set the bar at 5 and 10 and say yep he’s our man

Remember Brad Arthur got Lomax. We just let him go. I think it is all codswallop about KK. We flew him around the South Coast in a $3,000 helicopter ride to win him over. Is Parra going to hire a stealth fighter jet to win him over? Not likely. KK has signed. If he reneges then we will demand that he not play for a year or something like that as a penalty. Not going to happen is what I think. In any case the pay that the Eels would drum up will not be anywhere near the $1.2 mill per year we offered to pay him and it would be for less than the 5 years we have signed him for. Would he sacrifice that just to play with Su'A? I don't think so.
