SGI Jersey Flegg
Middles for Steelers SG ball getting carved up by raiders. Desperately need Weatherall/Meafou back
Jasais Ah kee is so good, imagine if he was playing #6 in the Steelers Matt’s teams. They wouldn’t lose a game
Phoenix Johns looks pretty good too. Ah Kee is certainly classy.
Dangerous, always made something happen when he touched the ball it felt like
Who stood out to you in the NSW cup trial mate?Oh and my thoughts on Cody Ramsey today... noting that the footage was very hard to watch (Genuinely from the grandstand):
- Cody came on at halftime at fullback and played 30 minutes.. took his first bomb and got plenty of cheers.. lots of slashing runs and was almost hyperactive when we were attacking.... he was floating left and right trying to look for opportunities.. still has speed and footwork.. lethal.. but.. just hasnt got the weight he used too.. so if anyone can get a hand on him hes easy to bring down (a lot like dufty).. and being so light would make it a real challenge for him to bring a big strong ball carrier down.. that said he doesnt lack for courage.
- Not sure where Cody will play this year, im sure he could make a crack of NSW Cup, but I think Rumble or Sloan are the first choice Fullbacks... cant see him playing wing either with all the guys we have.. unless we have a lot of injuries... Ctr maybe.. but hes very light. Suspect he will probably play a lower grade... and have to wait for opportunity.
I only watched bits and pieces of it also, and I didnt know half of the players (Justa just posted the squad then in another thread which is starting to fill in some blanks for me)... I dont mean to be disrespectful but todays squad was rly just whoever wasnt already involved in another grade.. cause most of our actual NSW Cup squad is playing tomorrow.. im sure its the same for the roosters though... rly felt like we were just playing for a bit of exercise.. no real purpose.Who stood out to you in the NSW cup trial mate?
I missed most of it

I mostly just wanted to see the section that Cody played, hes the wildcard.. could he make it back.. could he not.. had his family on the field after the game.... very emotional for him... but was nice seeing TPH get a run though (without being amazing either), I thought he went ok, and tbf Borg is probably the only possible Flegg Fullback this year.. so 1 injury and who knows...maybe TPH does play this year..
I didnt really study the forwards but I now realise that big ranga was Hutchinson, I couldnt put a name to his face, and I swear he wasnt red before.. good to see hes still with us, I reckon he will play some Flegg this year for sure.. one of those ones that probably would have a contract if it wasnt for those big name forwards we have coming though who took all the spots.
oh crap I knew I had forgotten someone.. there is the Jersey Flegg 6 for sure.. super excited to see him also.Hammoud looked outstanding in SG ball playing
Hopefully he continually puts on weight for the rest of the year and comes back at a good weight next year.Oh and my thoughts on Cody Ramsey today... noting that the footage was very hard to watch (Genuinely from the grandstand):

Realistically if Steelers SG go deep in finals.. I mean thats 9 + 3 or 4 weeks.. plus a rest week.. its half a season until they start filtering a few kids up.. so yeah I guess that really will be the flegg side for a good portion of the season.. plus maybe Buchanan is the only guy from tomorrows game that might drop back... or maybe Halangahu? The starting squad first 20 min will be the flegg 13
