  1. Clinton Gutherson 8/10 deducted a point for the try Souffs scored when he rushed up. Other than, best back by some distance.
  2. Tyrell Sloan 6/10 Just ok
  3. Moses Suli 6/10 Just ok
  4. Valentine Holmes Looks dangerous when he gets the ball with a bit of space. It would be nice if he had better service from the side.
  5. Christian Tuipulotu Just ok
  6. Kyle Flanagan 4/10 gets an extra point for backing up to score his second try and being in the right place for his first but just catching and passing isn't enough. Not even close.
  7. Lachlan Ilias 4/10 Now we know why Souths didn't want him.
  8. Toby Couchman 8/10 Dragons best? Up there with Gutho.
  9. Damien Cook 7/10 good.
  10. Emre Guler 6/10 Just ok
  11. Luciano Leilua 6/10 Just ok
  12. Jaydn Su’A 6/10 just ok
  13. Jack de Belin 7/10 Deducted a point for the bad miss for Souths last try.
  14. Jacob Liddle 5/10 Not enough minutes
  15. Blake Lawrie 4/10 Wasn't on for long. Not good conditions for him.
  16. Raymond Faitala-Mariner 6/10 far from the worst.
  17. Hamish Stewart 7/10 Getting better.

Cook has his moments but as long as Illias is in the team, Cook needs to do more of the kicking. I don't think Kyle had a single kick for the match.

On the bright side, it's better the team is playing like this now rather than at the end of the season like last year. Coach has the opportunity to fix it and get better as the year goes on.

Not a good result when we were up 24 - 12, with successful conversations could have been 30 alas it wasn't to be. No excuses we were simply out enthused by a very much weakened Rabbits team. More importantly we dropped our first 2 home games and play the storm in 2 weeks time again at home so the chances of losing our first 3 home games is very much on the cards unfortunately

Next game, assuming Suli is out because those rib cartilage injuries take a long time to heal, this is the team I hope for.

  7. Illias Glover is not first grade material. At least Illias is a pretty good defender. Not the best or worst kicker. Moving Kyle to halfback is also an option but after todays reserve grade game, I'm absolutely convinced LKT has to come in at 5/8.

I was a bit disappointed with Lawson effort in ressies, still hasn't grasped the game positional wise, so it's a no from me. Finau defence needs to be worked on, so again no from me. I was impressed by Couchman but he is just not big enough to be a prop at the moment but have to find a spot in the pack for him.

The biggest issue today to my eye was the lack of a game manager/ organiser some structures today were aimless. There just wasn't enough intensity out there today. It was a poor loss.
