Couldnt agree more was a great watch, jee Glovers stepped it up a couple notches recently! Feel sorry for Tom copping another HIA after finally just getting back, that might be him finished up needs to look after himself. The forwards did a cracking job in the conditions today. Hot weather and 2 man down for 65 mins.
Glover MOTM clearly
Only drew it.U spoke too soon
Yes he is a bit of an enigma as a ball player to be brutally honest. His defense is rather mediocre too.LKT was a bit disappointing.
I believe Glovers problem is his defence.Good draw. I thought:
- LKT was a bit disappointing. Didn't do much wrong or much right. Quiet game.
- Glover was excellent but goal kicking is a worry. Kicking in general play isn't very good either.
- Even though I think Tonga and Latu played a lot more minutes, while they were on Nick T and Liu outpointed them.
- Allen is a much better centre than fullback.
- Feagai's defence was good.
- Lawson and Buchanan were good, not great.
- Is Finau a better #9 than Muhleisen?
My fault. Don't post when drunk. I meant the kind of reliable, sound defensive fullback rather than the attacking fullback that TPH is.![]()
I don't think he's in line to replace Gutho this year or next. The year after, who knows but it'd be nice to have a coach like Bellamy who has no qualms at all when it comes to dropping a big name for a young player no one has heard of.
Future looks bright just need a game manager and we will be set for the 26 or 27 season if we can keep the majorityHows this for Flegg eligible forwards.

i thought Hutchinson might be a good, hardworking prop. Not as skillful of naturally talented as LPT or Liu but reliable. Reminds me of that prop who Melbourne recently medically retired. He had a good offload too, doesn't he?It is a hell of a batch of flegg-aged forwards, though the irony is most of them skipped straight past Flegg.. Jett prob the only middle who had a normal apprenticeship in it, the rest seemed to end up in NSW Cup very early... or ironically some of them ended up back in the Steelers/Dragons SG team..
I wonder if Leeroy is still considered in the group of big name forwards? Injury and suspension slowed his progress down, though I dont know if hes coming on as fast as the club maybe expected... Daniel has had some good runs though, hes a pretty solid body... and I think he will step up easily into Flegg.. but im not convinced hes a prop thats going to explode like Latu/Tonga.. I think hes more of a slow and steady burn.
