It wasn't meant to be criticism. Sloan can do things the best wingers like To'a, Lomax and etc can only dream of but he's way less robust and way less reliable. CT is stronger than those wingers as well but lacks the speed and skill.

tbf TPH was the very definition of effort in defence and attack last year.. definitely hasnt shone though since moving up.. probably has around 4 weeks I reckon till probably Borg takes his jersey? He would have to be killing it I feel to retain it.. not impossible..

I don't think he's in line to replace Gutho this year or next. The year after, who knows but it'd be nice to have a coach like Bellamy who has no qualms at all when it comes to dropping a big name for a young player no one has heard of.

Flegg performed better with Ward/Quinn halves combo, than this Tikinau/Baldock one. A clever half, specially is oh so necessary and Saints lower grades dont have a one.

Coming back now. The reserve grade team is very young. A lot of them are still eligible for Jersey Flegg. So it stands to reason the Flegg side would struggle a bit.

Steelers/ Tigers almost same spot on the ladder so to be 18-zip at oranges in the season final game shows the guys are shaping well for the finals. Having a good halves combo makes all the difference. I expect both Reed/Fitzgibbon to be promoted to Flegg after their season finish.

Unless willing to medically retire, were gonna be stuck with him for 2yrs.. this is twice hes come back from injury and lasted 5mins.. rly put the team under pressure today also with 16men.
