Agree mate. He’s got a lot of potential but he’s not the first and he’s only just a rookie really. I think it’s just an over inflated market atm due to a shortage of decent halves. Also factor in the 2 new teams we might see players like Ravalawa on $1million contracts lol

Hope not. Good player but such a grub. Don't think he's good for team harmony.
^ Mahoney is 27, basically the same age as Liddle with worse defence, makes more errors, his running game has essentially dissapeared and he's an absolute grub. Fat chance we would want him (I would hope).
Confident Lidds will extend and I would assume per Mugs comment above it would be a young Tallyn Da Silva type he's targeting for once Cookie winds up.

Did anyone else hear the rumour about the immediate release/swap with Sexton and the Dragons for Latu ? This was on Kenty's daily podcast/whinge.
I wouldn't mind it for this year only but he would be looking beyond. Also only if he is going to play him with LKT. I still want Illias and LKT to be given a crack.

When players have disputes with managers or change managers or agencies they are banned from signing contracts for 3 months.
Also Mutual Option means mutual both parties have to agree to it.

o Interesting.. whos changed managers recently lol.. hopefully its not Liddle and were finding out we lose him in 2.5mths time.. all the other hooker rumours... it all comes back to Liddle, if he does decide to stay then we dont need to chase any (Top30) hookers... if he leaves.. then its definitely going to be challenging to replace him....
o Sexton im on the fence with, hes like a faster version of Kyle with a better kicking game.. but hes still not a longterm prospect.. but if it worked with the squad balance then he would be an upgrade (esp pre june 30).. but we have LKT, Atkinson, Ilias and Kyle all on the books for next year currently.. we would need 1 or 2 to go. I just doubt the dogs r considering it though, they have halves options in Hayward/Galvin/Tia/Woods/Hutchinson, but its been working.. why would you take a punt like that.. Latu wouldnt even be that much cheaper than Sexton.

I don't want to say I told anyone so but I thought Hutchinson has been flying under the radar for a while. Everyone talking about LPT, Nick T and etc but wouldn't surprise me to see Hutchinson join them in first grade relatively soon.

I don't know but a guess is that they feel it's better for Tyrell not to publicly announce the club no longer wants him. Avoid some back-page headlines better for Tyrell. I don't know him personally but judging from what I have seen on the field, mentally he isn't the strongest.
