Good luck to him. I feel Flanno never gave him a decent chance. Dropped after one game when he was far from the worst of our team. Struggling to understand that.
But the question I'm most interested in, who does the club have in mind for prop in place of JDB and winger in place of Finau? It can't be a rotation of Lawrie, Gular, Sele and LPT. And Rava and CT on the wings.

Do our coaching staff/recruitment people know what they are doing? I hope so. This kid Finau will score lots of tries in a better organised attacking club like the Raiders. Look who they have there (I'm not going to say who as there are so many) - all quick and love scoring tries.
If the Dragons are happy to let Finau go, they must either be happy with who we have in both first grade and the lower grades or that they have someone else in mind externally who is just as fast but better at defence or neither and are completely lost as to who they want.
I always thought that Finau had something that the club would have persevered with and after seeing him score those tries against Souths in the trial game this year outside of Holmes, I honestly thought that those two would be the left hand side pairings for our comp games. I must have missed something though and no use talking about it now if he actually has gone. He will score tries against us with purpose just like Bostock and Tamale and even Saab.
We have been losing players, left, right and centre - some good, some not so but we still have some dregs left to get rid of but proving hard to do.
It will be interesting to see who will be our top 30 players next year - well maybe the top 27 with 3 places reserved.

More than effing Flanagan gave him. Wonder how much Anderson did to keep him or was he too late on the scene. Finau and Tamale will make a dangerous combo for the Raiders and will hurt us every time we meet em.

Some of us long suffering fans demand answers from our club bosses as to why Hunt was kept too long, why Flanagans son was signed, why the quality Zac Lomax, Tamale, Latu and now Sione Finau were forced out, why Jack was not given a further year, why we have not been able to lure any elite players, why we extend moderate quality players, why three guys past their best were expected to walk us into the finals.
