do you rate him? Will be interesting to see which winger we end up with.. we're gonna have to move on Ravalawa also.. Souths went and extended Johnston + signed Kosi.. can only mean they have 0 interest in Rav.
I do rate him yeah, I think he’s a 7/10 outside back.
His true value lies in that he can shift to wing or centre seamlessly, even fullback at a pinch

If you gave me the option of him or one of Mooney/Moale I’d pick the props

A prop is way more of a priority for me atm, we need to make the jump from Klemmer/Lawrie who are below average NRL front rowers and get more mobile + younger

I’m sure Anderson and Flanno have depth charts and are assessing all options, but a big thing for me is to get rid of aging players and bring in more youthful players, they don’t have to be 19 or 20, just not 30/31 YO

Unless it’s Tui Kamikamica (who’s built like an Adonis)
I’d steer well clear of NAS who strangely many fans want and I can’t understand why factoring in what he’ll cost

I think Kerr is (and was when he was with us) the ultimate bench prop.. he comes on with such energy that he really turns a game for you.. but I guess it depends what our roster looks like next year.. hoping we are after atleast 1 more name also.. esp if Jack and Klem r leaving...

Mooney was touring Newcastle facilities, I do wonder if we are in talks with him or not..

Are Anderson and Flanagan for real wanting back 'has been' Josh Kerr, when we shudda been targeting someone like young Raiders prop Trey Mooney as he is hungry to play top grade footy full time. Good luck to the Knights as they look like landing him.

Comes on with such energy and falls to the ground the moment a finger is placed on him.

Let's not re-sign JDB and sign JOSH KERR instead🤣🤣 Who is writing these jokes? Because he or she deserves a raise.

Jodragon you and I have been banging on about bringing in a quality, big bodied prop, so who do we sign our former reject Josh Kerr. Perhaps he has improved since leaving us as he was in the Maroons squad but he will never be a forward leader. Atkinson and Kerr, for Jack, Lomax and Finau, whacko. Another bottom half of the ladder season coming up and more heartache for this RedV tragic.

Why is Lomax being mentioned?? He left at the end of 2024. Val Holmes is a pretty handy replacement

He brings size, mobility and an off load as an impact 1st change bench prop. He is not at this stage what I would call an enforcer something that we so very badly need. I hope we didn't pay overs to go , as I said in another post ' Back to the future'

Back to a time of unprecedented weakness. When Josh Kerr in his mid 20s couldn't hold down a spot in first grade. Was signed by the Dolphins due to desperation of not being able to get a squad of 30 together, has spent most of his time in reserve grade in QLD, now is unwanted by the Dolphins so we Dragons re-sign him. After having no cash available to re-sign JDB. Make it make sense please. I can only see Dragons have become a feeder club and are not seeking first grade success.

Success is feeding the best clubs and new ones as well.

It is confusing but does it still point to our biggest issue? That no quality players still want to sign on the dotted line with the Dragons? Those questions need to be addressed and answered as a matter of priority.

Look at Jack Bostock. They signed him at least one, probably 2 years before he was ready for first grade. Before he was injured he was probably the BEST winger in the competition. Why can't or why doesn't the club pay overs for young players not yet ready for first grade rather than veterans who have been in but mostly out of first grade their entire careers?

Nope, we are a feeder club. That's all there is to it. Get used to the idea.
