I dont think he is quite ready Chris would prefer for him to have another year in KOE with the odd game maybe in NRL.

We may as well call a spade a spade. both our mens and womens team suck !!! Now what is this club going to do about it.

Well said Justa. There is absolutely no use anyone following the Dragons can say without any fear or favour that this Club that we follow has shown any real substantial improvement in all of the past 15 years. Our Club has been so more down than up and every end of year review that us fans do on how the club has ended the year all results conclude with the same dismal statements and that we look forward to maybe a better following year.

That is just not good enough and the people running the Club should be made fully accountable for the terrible outcomes. Mens' and Womens' teams are a shambles going by the results. What will the Club do to turn this around? The people in charge are the ones right where all the answers should be at their beck and call. They are at the coal face, they get all the info. Who puts down the hard lines to ensure that those responsibe for the poor results get a harsh sounding out?

This is a big money business and when crowd numbers are severely down and we cannot attract those who are able to see the home games by not turning up, surely the Club and stakeholders would be worried and anxious about the future. If this continues as it has been, then woe be tide if we ever will have a Dragons club in the next 10 or so years time. 15 years have gone just like that. The year being 2010 and it was historic for the joint venture Club. The next 15 years will go just like the past 15 and we saw what happened and I know I wont be around to see a repeat of it so please Dragons big wigs, make sure that the future is bright and rosey for the kids of tomorrow who want to follow the Big Red V.

What I mean by the next 15 years will go just like the past 15 years is how quickly it goes and not the same situations as we have experienced in the football. Who knows, it could be far worse and then I hope it will be far better than what has been dished up.

Good post Dave, 100%, there is nothing attractive for the young ones to follow the Dragons, even my grandkids remind me that the Dragons never win, and they are 8 and 6.

Thanks Justa. Yes I can understand why your grandkids remind you even at their young age that the Dragons never win. Because in the past 8 years, we made the semis only once. The rest was appalling.

I believe we have turned the corner. If only someone can force Flanno to tell the halfback to f*ck off, lift that weight off his shoulders and the teams shoulders, I think we have the makings of long term success.

Kyle was originally signed to be the #14. This was confirmed by Tim Watsford the new CEO. Flanno snr needs to ensure that young Kyle is used as that #14 next year and stick to it. We will have Atkinson and LKT as our halves to trial and if they click well and good but if not make changes but do not bring Kyle into the halves equation.

Nothing has been whispered or rumoured about any new signings as I think everything is being conducted in house to ensure that nothing will interfere with securing players and announced officially during November/December. That is my thought anyway.

I always thought he was underrated until I found out how much Mary was paying him. I'll always the remember the blinder he played against Broncos in week 1 of the finals. Then gave them the old 'look at the scoreboard' treatment when Broncos got aggressive with him near fulltime. The game was played in Brisbane as well. It didn't endear him to QLDers.

He was probably the best out of the 3 brothers, and we had all three of them. would be interesting to see what he does next.

I feel your frustration, Dave. Unfortunately, accountability is unlikely to be accepted. That said, I’m hopeful that the changes across the executive team, starting with the new CEO and recruitment manager is the beginning of a more successful era.

You are 100% correct Ryan the old model definitely failed. I don't think there will be major changes to the composition of the board. What I am hopeful of, is that the board will hand over full running of the football club to the CEO and his team, and the board's sole responsibility it to expeditiously sign off on recommendation put forward by the CEO.
